INDIA’S L&T SCOOPS $161M RIYADH METRO DEAL

India’s Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Construction has bagged a $161.37 million order for the construction of the tracks for Lines 1 and 2 of the Riyadh Metro in Saudi Arabia.
According to a company statement, the company’s railway business unit won the order from the BACS consortium – which is made up of Bechtel, Almabani, CCC and Siemens – for the construction of the tracks on a design-and-build basis.
